Our Story
We started out by guiding informal trail rides in central and southwest Florida 2006-2007. It began as a hobby but soon became a necessity when The Great Recession hit.
Originally, the company was called Great World Nature Tours and we had 10 horses, an F-450, and a 24′ stock trailer. It wasn’t long before we became known to local hotels like The Ritz Carlton Sarasota, The Longboat Key Club, and what is now the Lido Beach Resort.
In the summer of 2008, we started offering beach rides at Palma Sola Bay in Bradenton, Florida. This quickly became a popular tourist activity and has garnered a fair amount of positive press for our town.
We’re members of 3 Chambers of Commerce (Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and Venice). And we are very involved with the tourism community via the Bradenton Convention and Visitors Bureau.
We plan and coordinate special events such as corporate outings, family reunions, marriage proposals, birthday parties, and singles events. Please let us know if we can help you.

The Real BeachHorses is owned by Great World Adventures, LLC, an independent, privately-held adventure tour and activity distributor headquartered in Lakewood Ranch, Florida (USA). We engage in the development, marketing, and operation of excellent tourist activities worldwide.
Partnership
2020 has been a tough year for the travel and tourism sector. Our beach rides have been shut down, off and on, for most of the year.
